Where is the fuel filter located on 2006 chevy silverado 1500 ext.cab?

Chevorlet did away with the inline fuel filter on the Silverado, so your truck does not have one that can be serviced or replaced like the earlier models had.
They have a "lifetime" filter/strainer built into the fuel sender inside the tank...I hope this helps.

Not sure i am locating the oil drain plug or the auto trans drain plug on my 2006 chevy silverado 1500. i am almost certain it is the oil drain plug but want to make absolute certain before i drain it....

Fuel filter location

Lay on your back and slide under you truck. The filter should be supported by your frame right under the seating area or close to it. Make sure you have a couple of rags and a drain pan before you take it loose, it is under some pressure and will leak some gas. Eye protection is also a good idea.

Change Fuel Filter on 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

It's on the driver side frame. It's not hard to install one. Just have to have a special tool to get the line off the filter.
