Question about Ford Bronco II

1 Answer

My 87 ford bronco II died one day while driving it. I first thought I was out of gas but after putting in gas it still wouldn't start. I ran a test wire to see if the fuel pumps were good and they are, then I tried replacing the fuel pump relay switch, still nothing. Electrical and it's killing me! I have been told a variety of things from the brain is out, the ignition module, the ignition switch... When I turn on the key I do not get any pumps to turn on, and no pressurization will try to turn over but won't? Help[!!

MARK THE DISTRIBUTOR LOCATION, LOOSEN THE HOLD DOWN BOLD AND WITH THE BATTERY CHARGED AND THE IGNITION ON, TURN THE DISTRIBUT0R AND LISTEN FOR THE FUEL PUMP RELAY TO CLICK, IF IT DOES NOT CLICK, REPLACE THE MAGNETIC PICKUP IN THE DISTRIBUTOR. THEN CHECK THE FUEL PRESSURE IT SHOULD HAVE ATLEAST 35 TO 45 PSI WITH THE ENGINE OFF.
