Possibly a bad water pump. or too much coolant in the reservoir bottlle. Also, the cooling fans may not be operating properly.

Hope this helps

Steam fills car when i turn on the rear heat liks water have just replaced the thermastate thinking that is why linking no sing of any leak when hood is raised around the hoses or raidiator

It sounds like the leak could be under the passenger side dashboard which is where the heater core is located. The heater core a small radiator that a fan blows air over to heat the inside of your car. Is the steam coming out of the vents when you turn the heat on?

My trucker over heats what can i do?

Your Coolant isn't circulating well enough is usually the case. I would replace the pump. furthermore, make sure there isn't a bunch of **** clogging your grill.

We recently had the raidiator replaced and the system flushed, no leakage, vehicle heats up fairly quikley, there is an electric fan attached to the backside of the raidiator, which does not come on, it...

The fan should come on when the coolant temperature goes up to a certain degree that the Temperature Fan Control Switch is set at, usually 190-200 degrees. if your electric fan is not coming on when the A/C is off, than you will need to replace the Temp Fan Switch. If your radiator was recently replaced maybe the mechanic did not re-connect the wiring harness to the switch. The switch is usually located in the Cylinder Head.

Hello, Can you help me? I have a 1993 Chevy Lumina that is overheating when I stop ex. long traffic lights, letting it run while I go to the mac machine etc... once I start driving again its fine. Can you...

Sounds like the cooling fan is not coming on .. could be a bad fan motor or relay .. If you can check it yourself you can try to power the fan up directly and see if that is the problem.
