Can I use an external fuel pump on a vehicle thats throttle body injected

The short answer is yes.
You would probably have to remove the pump in the tank to keep from trying to pull fuel thru it with the external pump. On some Ford models in the 1980s two pumps were used, one in the tank and one on the frame.

Can I use an external fuel pump on this vehicle it has throttle body injection and has a 5.0 motor I have an external fuel pump it pumps 1.0 GPM at 35 PSI

im guessing here , but what im thinking your asking is, "hey my intank fuel pump has gone bad can I substitute an external fuel pump for it on my throttle body injected vehicle " ??? does this sound close ?
if so then heres what I know about em.
the intank pumps don't require a fuel circulation loop because they use the fuel in the tank to cool the pump at low flow times (idle) , if you were to use an external pump it [pressure would have to be close to the intank model (50 to 80 psi) and in the interest of safety all the connections would have to be swaged or threaded ,no hose barbs and clamps also if there isn't already installed a fuel return line would need to be plumbed in as well or pump will overheat and leak fuel , as well the old pump would have to be removed from tank as fuel flow wouldn't be enough at full throttle thru the dead pump and then a new outlet pipe would have to be fabbed up , so to answer your question if I got it right ? is yes but why would you want to you'd end up changing so much stuff it be easier to just get a new pump !!

2000 oldsmobile intrigue fuel pump pressure

most in tank pumps deliver generic pressure of between 60-90 psi. the pressure needed for specific models is set and kept by the fuel pressure regulator located in the gas supply line up near the intake manifold (maybe with a vacuum line running to it), usually in the 18-45 psi range. your local auto parts store can give you your specific information, as can the parts desk person at your local dealership.

96 Probe GT. Fuel pump doesn't run when it should.

Does your car run? Some fuel pumps run quiet so you will need to get your ear close to the gas tank and have someone turn on the ignition. The pumps only run about 3 seconds when the ignition is turn on without starting the engine.

FUEL PUMP MAKES NOISE PRESSURE GAGE READS 40 PSI ENGINE BEGINS TO SPUTTER MY PRESSURE GAGE DROPS TO ABOUT 20 PSI

Fuel pump is bad. At idle pressure should read 50 PSI. Replace with original manufacture fuel pump after market pumps will burn out fast and are unreliable from my experience. Also could have a bad fuel regulator but that only works while driving down the road full throttle. You can unhook the fuel rail pressure regulator and that will give it full fuel and the pressure reading should read 60 PSI while it is running. If you turn the engine off and turn the key to run position it should read 50 PSI and hold for 60 seconds, if it drops below 30 PSI after 30 seconds Pump is defective. Many pumps are going bad here of late as people have been running them less than ¼ tank and this kills the pump. The fuel cools and lubricates the pump so the lower the fuel level the worse it is on the pump below ¼ tank. Not to hard of a job to do if you want instructions let me know.

How do I get to the fuel filter in the gas tank.

I have never seen a fuel filter in the gas tank, fuel pump yes. To get to anything in the tank the tank has to be removed from the vehicle.

Fuel problem

fuel pump could be overheating and need replaced, if this happens exactly the same each time it seems that is the case, the gasoline in the tank cools the pump through the returned system, alot of people that drive around near empty all the time will burn out their fuel tank quicker because of the pump not being cooled properly, you have spark when the car wont start?
