You will need a phillips screwdriver, non marring pry tool and a socket set. The worst part is to pop off the side view mirror cover on the door inside just above the door panel. Slide the pry tool up and down until you hit the clip and gently push and pry the clip out of each one of the receptacles. Unscrew the screws on the door trim and handles and lift the door panel strait up then out with the window down. You should have access to the window track and the mounting bolt. Loosen the lower part of the track and insert the window in the track then tighten the mounting bolt. Test the window to make sure the track is not bent or needs an adjustment. Reassemble the door if all looks good.

Electric windows not working

You might need to replace the fuses or if they are making a grinding noise like they are trying to work that means they are out of track and you need to open your door panels to put the window back in place.

Window on driver side is down but will not go up . Passenger side woks fine

May I presume that it is an electric window?

#1 check fuse and wiring, especially wiring in the door sleeve, as the drivers door is the most used.

#2 Check the switch, make sure that this wiring and switch is ok, exchange with passenger to test

#3 The window track may be tired and u may have to bring it up by hand

Passenger side electric window wont go down. Fuses that run the other window and the sunroof work. Sometimes the rear sticks a little but goes down after a few tries.

you may need a new window regulator and the rear on may need to have the window track cleaned and lubed but it may need to be replaced as well

The passenger side window just fell down and made a breaking metal sound while falling anyone know how to repair a problem like this or how to take the door panel off?? thanks

either hand crank or electric, the window assy is on a regulator and a track. no doubht the regulator or the bar that moves the window in the track let go. look in the grab handle for the screws to remove it, and the panel should have backing clips on it that just pull out of holes in the body of the door. then you can see the the extent of the damage. those parts are normally available from napa. hope that helps.

1994 Camry wagon, passenger side electric window.(front seat)

Can you hear the moter or do interior lights dim when pressing button? If so remove door panel and lubricate tracks and rolers using lithium grease lube only the tracks that do not come in contact with glass.

Check the connections at the switch and at the moter with a volt meter if there is power than time for a new moter. no power than check at drivers side switch. If no power there and fuse is ok you have a open in wires and will have to trace entire circut

Passenger side power window problem

You say you replaced the switch? Make sure the glass is on track; if it skipped the track it won't open.
