Question about 2006 Mercury Milan
Remove door panel. put window all the way up first. with the door panel removed, see if you can get to the clips holding the door handle to the door, it may have nuts and not clips.look at the replacement to sort of get an idea of how it's held in place. if you can't get it because the window is in the way, then it also needs to be removed to avoid breaking it. now, the door lock lever and switch lever are going to be connected to the handle. just pop off the plastic clips and remove so you can get to the door handle. it's a bit tedious but it's doable.
