Condenser coils look like a radiator, normally mounted in front of the radiator. You should be able to trace A/C lines to fittings that are attached to the condenser.

Please, I need to know if the 1997 Nissan Quest has a timming belt or a chain, and if it has a belt when is necessary to be changed Thank you!

it has a belt.recommended replacement interval is 105,000.if mileage is lower than this i personally rec replacement at no more than ten years.if it hasnt been replaced do it.i assure you when it does fail invariably it is always at the most inopportune time.

2005 NIssan quest camshaft sensor

for a Nissan Quest, it is in the distributor. Not serviceable, replace distributor. Famous for nearing failing and getting brown dust on optical sensor for camshaft sensor. buy on ebay for $200. Cleaning optical sensor is temp repair.

Call dealer & see if yours is there too.

1997 nissian quest overheating

Thermostats are normally inside a small well on the engine side of the upper radiator hose. There would be 3 or so small bolts locking the cover/lid. The lid often also have the outlet where the radiator hose is plugged in.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
