Info needed!!!!! when you changed out the battery was because it wont start or wont crank at all . if it does crank , then your battery and starter are not the problem . just a shoot in the dark , if does crank look for the fuel cut off reset. and reset it . (owners manuel should tell you were it is ) with out more info thats the best i have to offer .i wont be back untill tommarow. you might try reposting with more info . like new battery turn the key and nothing . then that would let some one know that its probley your starter etc. etc good luck hope you give at least 1 thumbs up

Ok my 1983 camaro has a v6 in it and every time I want to start it I have to hook it up to a portable battery charger and start it up like that but now it won't even start up. Even when the battery is...

Sounds as though the battery is no good,
unless you know otherwise & also had it tested
Charging a battery doesn't address it's internal
condition
You have battery cables that corrode inside & can be
voltage drop tested
You have the starter & solenoid, ignition sw & such, to name
a few, lots of possible causes & things to check

Maybe your should take the key switch out or replace it that would be cheaper than having a key made, hot wiring bad idea

Car shut off while driving and won't restart, gauges flicker

If it is a 2006 then you probably need a new battery, which is located under the hood of the car. If the gauges flicker, the battery is probably too dead to start the whole car, but it will still try to start it. Hoped it helped.

94 gmc sierra 4.3 v6 manual, won't turn over, can hear fuel pump start when accessories turned on..won't fire, girl who needs help

The first thing I would check is fuel pressure. This type of fuel injection requires a minimum fuel pressure in order to operate. If fuel pressure is as little as one psi below minimum the vehicle will not start. You can try squirting a couple of shots of carb spray into the air snorkel while somebody cranks the engine over. If the engine starts and then dies you now you fpdeffinetely have a fuel issue. If the engine still won't start check for spark. Let me know what you find. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

93 won t start, clicking when i try to start... it started after sitting for a few days than now it won t don t know if its my starter battery or alternator

I would change all three. alittle expensive, but on this old of a vehicle I would not waste time and trouble. if this doesnt work then maybe some ignition problems. But i would guess that battery, starter, alternator, should do the trick
