Question about 2006 Ford Explorer
If an injector was bad,as you put it, there would tend to be a constant effect of an injector problem.
That being a rich or lean O2 Sensor on that bank.
So you need to look at scan tool data or put a scope on injectors,O2 sensors,TPS etc,depending on how technical you want to get.
All COP Coil ignition fords, have constant issues. May have a bad coil or two.
You didn't mention a MIL Lamp or wrench on the dash or codes pulled!
