When you push on the horn pad with the key on everything else off.....QUIET....in the cab....do you hear a clicking from the relay? If yes replace the horn/horns itself mounted outside under the hood near the radiartor/grille area, also check for a dirty ground or a bad connection at the horns plug.
If no click and you say the fuse and relay test good, you may have a bad horn pad assembly, may have to order this from dealer. Also test the wires at the horn pad and down the steering column to be sure they were not tampered with or have a bad contact.

Where is the fuse for the horn in a 05 chevy equinox

Look in the fuse box located in the drivers side of the engine bay near the firewall. Under the lid there will be the diagram showing the location of the horn fuse. Hope this helps.

Chevy tahoe rse

Check all the fuses (under hood and inside drivers door) to make sure none have blown. I checked with a test light. If you don't find any blown fuses try disconnecting the battery (neg) cable for about a minute. Disconnecting the battery worked for my 05' Tahoe.

HOW DO YOU FIX A HORN THAT GOES OUT ON A 2003 TAHOE

This is a challenging repair but you can do it yourself if you are comfortable with the following instructions. For tools, you will need a voltmeter, a set of allen wrench screw drivers and a set of wrenches. The horn on a Chevy Tahoe operates with the use of a relay. This means that the power for the horn is received from the fuse block under the hood. Power from the fuse block runs to the horn relay. The commonly open end of the wire goes to the horn. The horn is then grounded to the frame. Power to the activating terminal of the relay comes from the Body Ride Control or from the accessory side of the ignition switch. The negative side of the relay runs through the column to the clockspring. The clockspring is also used for the air bag system. The wire then continues to the steering wheel air bag where it is attached. As the air bag is pressed, it causes the wire to ground, actuating the relay which, in turn, activates the horn.

Have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe and the horn won't blow, what could be wrong? I think I've checked all the fuses.

If you have a 12 volt test light check for power at the horn connector while having someone push the button... more than likely the horn is just dead.

I have a 2002 chevy tahoe and my horn doesn't work. I was wondering where the fuse box is located in my vehicle and which fuse goes to the horn (so I can check if its blown).

Go to the wiring on the horn andd run it back to the fuse box. Replace the fuse or "hot wire" system and see if the horn works. It is also possible to ware out the horn by constantly reminding drivers how poor their driving is. I use to sell for a living and drove 60,000miles per year. I burned my horn out 2 times. Good luck
