SOURCE: fuel level gauge
some of this vehicles have a computer system, that will allow you to diagnose the fuel gage with an aftermarket sacan tool,
than most of auto repairs have, but i will recomend you to check also the conector by the fuel pump and make sure there is not any corosion or melting circuit inside the conector,
what the scan tool does is triger your gage and that way you will know if you have a bad gage.

Look on the side of the motor for a plug type thing that has a single wire attached to it. This will be in the block area of the motor. You can unscrew that piece with a socket or wrench and replace it if you have one. Let me know. Raz
