Thank goodness you will not have to. Your local parts stores sell a repair line and couplers for the high pressure fuel line. Which is relatively cheap comparing it to replacing the whole fuel line. Repair is straight forward and instructions come with it in case you run into issues.

How do thou replace a fuel line from the motor on a 1998 Buick park avenue

Okay Beverly Anderson...

Not terribly SPECIFIC... there is a whole lot of fuel line.. but the global... non-specific answer is...
CAREFULLY...!!

To me "fuel line from the motor" means the RETURN LINE...
Does not matter... the answer remains the same.

On domestic cars (yours: I think... today)...
The fuel line runs from the bottom of your fuel tank (guessing here) all the way thru a filter, pump... and steel lines + neoprene hoses (typically 5/16")... arriving above your engine: 3.8L yes/no Turbo... fuel injected engine... (thru pressure regulator, see below) into your "fuel rail".

Then... through your PULSING INJECTORS ... for combustion

Again... "TYPICALLY" meaning there is usually a return fuel line BACK to your fuel tank... and a third VAPOR LINE is attached "TYPICALLY" high on the filler neck removing the EVER-PRESENT fuel vapors from the fuel tank.

So to your question HOW?

Get the right sized tubing...
get appropriate FACTORY hose clamps
**...

GENTLY CUT AWAY the hardened rubber ...
Fit the new neoprene hose... softly tighten those hose clamps
(snug: sufficient only to stop leakage (overtightening is worse than NOT tightening)).

If you ever plan on putting this car in a concourse... PURCHASE the EXACT same CHEESY clamps that came from the factory...

**CONCOURSE awards no points for being SMART/SAFE...

Only ORIGINALITY counts!!

So THEY say!!

Hope this helps... ELSE comment me back... (I'll be around).

02 Buick Park Ave has a gas smell on dipstick plus white smoke Out exhaust sometimes engine jumps lifter ticks and dic and instrument panel not working no visible coolant leak or chocolate like substance...

Gasoline is entering and contaminating the engine oil. It can only enter through the leaking injectors.
Inspect, clean or replace the injectors and replace the engine oil immediately.

Is there a fuse for the gas gauge on a 2000 Buick Park Ave

Its the same fuse that powers the rest of the instrument cluster.
Should be marked "gauges" or "inst".
The fuel filter should be in the fuel line between the gas tank and the engine. The line runs under the floor of the car.

My 1993 buick park ave stalls when stopped at red lights

When was last "healthy" tune up? Plugs, wires, ALL filters including FUEL filter? I'd start there, and run a good fuel system cleaner w/next tank full of fuel. In winter, with fluctuating temps, condensation (water) forms in fuel tank and spark plugs don't burn fuel/water efficiently causing stumbling and premature wear on your plugs.
