It sounds like you left the cap off, and it blew all over the place. You won't know for sue till you get it open, but even a small drip can coat the bottom of a car fast. It just drips out and gets blown all over the place. Hope this helps.

Oil leaked out from the oil cap and the engine cover has a missing screw

Oil may have been over filled , if not a faulty cap , the missing screw wouldnt cause a leak from the cap , check no oil leakage around missing screw (may need to clean area first) this could cause rocker cover gasket not being compressed properly

Hi Martin, it sounds like you have a fluid leak. Open the bonnet and check the servo and connecting pipes down to your gear box for leaks.

2001 maxima 5sp won't go in gear when car started

There is a black hose with a metal like hose attach on each end, right above you manual gear box. It can be seen a little from above but better from under neath the car engine on the right hand side. check to see if the hose look wet from oil like substance, if thats the case you found the problem. If not check your "Master cylinder or Slave cylinder mite be back. I have the same problem, when the fluid leaks the clutch is unable to build the pressure needed to out the car into a gear. Hope this helps. (>:

Puddle of oil under neath 2003 fords focus. Does not appear to be engine oil or tranmission fluid. On driver side. Gear box oil??? !30,000 on engine.

Power steering fluid? Rack leaking? try ATP AT - 205 re-seal additive. Good for engine ,PS and transmission.

The oil is leaking from the gear box of my automatic transmission

what box?? gear box are described as tranny, differential and steering box. if steering is leaking check the seals at input shaft or bottom replacement is nessary but can be done pretty easy and cheap too. if leaking from hose then you looking as a hydraulic hose like $80 or so..
