0052 is an O2 sensor, 0012 is camshaft position, 0043 is heater control unit, and 0055 is heater resistance. And I will give you a web site you can check these out at. Hope this helps.

I have a 1996 dodge intrepid with a diagnostic code 1255. Could someone please tell me what that code means?

If you had two blinking CEL codes, a 12 (pause) and a 55, the code 12 means the battery has been disconnected within the previous 50 starts. The code 55 indicates the end of stored codes. Therefore, you have no saved trouble codes (disconnecting the battery deletes saved trouble codes).

1996 Dodge Intrepid camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction

DO U UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF "OUT OF PHASE"?? IT IS THE MECHANICAL TIMING OF THE SIGNAL FROM EACH SENSOR TO THE ENGINE CONTROL COMPUTER, WHAT IS THE CODE? ALSO TELL YOUR DAD (NICELY) THAT ATROUBLE CODE DOES NOT ALWAYS MEANS A FAILED SENSOR, ONLY A PROBLEM WITH THE SIGNAL, THAT CAN BE THE WIRING, IT CAN BE MECHANICAL OR IT CAN BE THE SENSOR, MANY POEPLE DON'T GET THAT AND SPEND TON'S OF MONEY CHASING CODES.I HAVE DONE THIS FOR 35 YEARS AND AM SURE OF WHAT I AM SAYING 100%

1996 dodge intrepid overheats an check engine light won't go off

You need a radiator. It's 13 years old, replace it without hesitation. Now, why is the engine light on, have you had the codes read?

1996 dodge intrepid 3.3 transmission wont shiftout of first gear

two issues here. this may be a low fluid issue. i would check the level of the fluid first. the next issue could be a blown shift solenoid. these are located inside of the transmission pan.also, check the filter as well.(transmission filter could be clogged)
