Question about 2004 Mazda 3
By o/s/f I assume you mean outside front?
It is a sealed bearing with integarted hub flange on your 3.
You will need to remove the steering knuckle,take the snap ring out and press it from the housing with a shop press.
If you have abs this is critical to get right,the tone ring for the abs sensor is also integrated into the bearing.So,in short,if you don't have tools and experience with this type of repair take it to a pro or it will cost ya.I've had to do both on my 3 and neither were fun.
