When you are at the -C- display (you may have to wait up to 3 mins) press program button 5.

Use Up or Down buttons for first digit - Press 5 to store
Repeat for digits 2 3 & 4

Job done.

Now, can anyone advise me how to get the stock Cassette/ Radio out of the dash (replacing with CD player)?

I have a 1990 Nissan pintara 2.4liter I can start it then stop straight away I've replaced coil dizzie cap and leads do u think it could be fuel pump or dizzie any help would help thanks francis

The place to start with this problem would be to scan your onboard engine computer for fault codes. If there are no fault codes present, then see if it will stay running if the throttle is opened slightly. If it does, then the problem is most likely caused by a bad Idle Speed Control (ISC). These fail sometimes without setting any codes.

Adjust clutch on nissan pintara (it dosn't give me the pintara option in the choose a category) 2 lt, 1990

That's probably because of the fact that they didn't make enough of that model of cars that they would put it on their website. That's what I would say. Just google clutch for australian Nissan Pintara and see what happens.

Original radio

OK i just spent three hours with tha same problem really.
i removed casing around steering column done by removing 4 screws on the underside. the bottom half of the dash is also done up by a series of screws remove these also. Once bottom half of dash is removed there will be clips holding head unit in push these in and head unit should slide straight out. :)

I have a 1990 nissan pintara and when i turn the radio on its say code required, does anyone have an idea??????

If you have the original owners manual that previous owner has written the code in you will not need to replace radio otherwise you will need to replace it.Some times the code can be written on the outer case of the radio but not usualy.Vehicle is too old for that code to have been retained by manufacturer/dealership.Without that four digit code therse very little you can do but replace.
