My 95 Mazda millenia keeps overheating. When i put water in it and drove it a mile or two, the water was leaking out. Not just a small leak, like a high pressure leak. How do i fix it?

Put water in the expansion tank and radiator, start the engine and observe the water if it is bubbling like air inside, if yes, check the oil for traces of water and you might be unlucky to have the head gasket gone.

My chrysler voyager mini van all of the sudden began overheating...it goes up to the red and starts beeping within a minute. The fans are working fine and water is flowing through radiator fine. It did...

I think you have a leaking headgasket or a coolant leak. Have the cooling system pressure tested first, if no external leaks show up then you have a possible leaking headgasket.

Overheating, adding coolant/water weekly. busted hose? thermostat sticking? help

If could be a blown head gasket. Check your oil to see if it is creamy looking. Also, check your spark plugs to see if they have white ash on them. If it's a leak, sometimes it won't leak until the car is warmed up. Start it up and check for leaks after it warms up.

My 2001 mazda millenia ran hot, we put water in it and it still ran hot does it sound like the thermostat?

If your car ran hot, you may need to check the radiator for a leak. You always need to add antifreeze/coolant when you add water to your car. Check you owner's manual for the type they suggest and the proper mix of water to antifreeze/coolant. I had to get a head on my motor shaved when my car ran hot and later I had to get the hoses replaced. My radiator cap died following my replacing the radiator as it was plastic and when the car overheated it damaged the cap. How long was the car running hot? You don't want to be a penny wize or a pound foolish when it comes to engine overheating problems. You can repair on the cheap now and pay a lot more in the long run. Also, in the future when your car runs hot, you can turn on the heater --yes even when it is hot outside--I recommend opening up the windows. The heater fan will help to dissipate the heat from the car engine. It does work. I hope these help. Also go to a reputable repair shop. It could be your thermostat they can have check valves which get messed up but you need to check to see if it is your radiator or if there is a leak there or in a hose.

99 Sunfire Coolant keeps dumping

You need to find the source of the leak. it hasn't overheated yet because you keep catching it and re-filling. From your description, it sounds a lot like a bad water pump seal (part of pump) but without physically looking you can't be sure of that. when the pump seal begins to fail, internal pressure while running often will drive the seal tighter against the shaft stopping the leak. as pressure drops as the engine cools, the seal relaxes and permits seepage.
With time, that will change and it will leak all the time.

Dodge 318 overheating.

HI. It could possibly be the the thermostat is stuck shut. If thats the case when the vehicle warms up it will probably overheat all the time. The best way to tell is buy a new one and change it. They are usualy around $10.00 at any autoparts store. If you change it and it still overheats, it could be the waterpump.

95 Mazda Millenia runs very rough after overheating

Hi,
The compression test was a good test, but since you asked for ideas, I'd also check the following basic "naked eye" visuals:
1. Do you notice any white-ish smoke out the exhaust, especially after killing it then cranking back up?
2. With engine cold, take the radiator cap off and crank it. Does it act more violent than expected, like a geyser?
3. Loosen the oil pan drain screw to see if any water finds its way out from the bottom of the oil pan.
If so, to these tests... blown head gasket.
I hope NOT though... Good luck!
