2013 Jeep Compass Sport with engine coolant light/powering down on interstate. Water pump, temperature sensor, and both thermostats were replaced. A combustion check neg for coolant in motor. ???

The only reason to power down when everything seems normal is if the sensor had a bad reading. Loss of 2 cups is minimal. Could be leaking from heater core and you would not notice the leakage.
