When you buy your brakes ( pads or shoes) some of the part houses have diagrams or pictures and usually a how to guide.

Pumped the breaks went down to the floor, check break fluid looked low added some pushed the break pad did the same thing.feels like theres pressure when u push but its there for a spilt second then it goes...

WHAT YEAR AND MODEL OF BUICK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. BECAUSE IF IT IS A REAR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE, I WOULD SUGGEST YOU CHECK THE WHEEL BRAKE CYLINDER, YOU WILL NEED TO PULL THE WHEEL AND DRUM OFF. IF REAR BRAKES ARE DISCS, THEN VISUALLY CHECK THE REAR BRAKE CALIPER AND HOSE. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO REPAIR BRAKES... BUT DON'T FORGET THE NUMBER ONE RULE OF ALL CARS. THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS ON YOUR VEHICLE ARE THE BRAKES, GOOD ONES MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE.... BAD ONES..........WELL....YOU GET THE PICTURE.

kevin_r_fogo.jpgkevin_r_fogo_0.jpgBVrakes are not something to mess with if you are not an experienced auto mechanic. This is what they look like but I would seriously think about taking it to a qualified mechanic

I have changed the bulbs on my brake lights, but they still won't come on. I took it to AutoZone and they said it was the brake light switch. I am curious as to where it is located and how it can be...

The brake light switch is located on the arm of the brake pedal, and is activated by closing the circuit when the pedal is depressed. For this type of vehicle, you may want to go to a junk yard to get the part cheaper. a brand new one is cheap, but used ones are dirt cheap. You can use the same one as an S-10 if you need to as a suitable replacement. I have not had to replace one myself, but it should be pretty straight forward just by looking at it. Most of them are retained either by a snap in bracket, or a dowel and cotter pin.

that link shows a picture of the switch, I hope this helps.

Need diagram for Mazda b4000 brake drum assembly

Okay, then you have what you need. Just take the drum off of the other side and use it as a reference. You are going to have a hard time trying to find a diagram. The Hayes and others are just general pictures and not necessarily what is on your specific vehicle. I do not have that particular diagram myself.
Please remember to rate this fix.
