My rear air conditioner blows hot air. It shows the auxillary button on but never gets cold. Could it be a damper or a resister?

This is showing the control module which you can test and replace quite easily.

One other thing that you should have a look at doing is getting the local GMC dealer to reprogram this module as an anomaly can occur with the module.

And it can save you alot of time and money.

Blowing out cold air even when the heater is set to hot setting. Feels like cold air is coming in from the outside. The colder it gets outside the colder it gets inside. 2007 jeep commander

ok,

first the engine gets hot, if not there will no cab hot air.
so if you scan it the PCM shows the ECT reading over 180f,
does it. if not , the thermostat is bad.
in order !!!
blower works so not blower.
leaving dampers, does the HVAC self test pass?
if damper are in heat mode, that leaves only 2 left
(possible air filter there? ,its and option) in the dash HVAC box.
the heater core is packed. (in air side or water side)

Air conditioning system, when you turn on the air conditioner the drivers side blows cold air and the passengers side blows hot air? What causes this problem?

The most common cause of this is that you have a stuck air temperature control blend door, this can be a motor actuator issue or a jammed door or both (common). To replace both parts you will need to completely remove the dash from the car to access the blend door.

Air conditioner

sure.

what is your goal hot air, you never said,

got full fan speed? on high>? sure.
got full engine coolant heat 180F or more holding??? if not all is lost.
if car has a heater core water valve is it open>?
are the 2 heater core water tubes both fully hot,(hand test)
yes> good.
now you need air flow through the core (heater)
that means the damper most be open,, is it?

in that order. (heat)
the dampers on hondas can be complex. (10x on electric damper motors , aka, damper actuators)
see part 5 and 6 here
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/prddisplay.jsp?inputstate=5&catcgry1=ACCORD&catcgry2=2002&catcgry3=2DR+EX&catcgry4=KA4AT&catcgry5=HEATER+UNIT

the fSM covers the complex tests of dampers, and not having
a real FSM makes this near impossible.
why , because your dampers are no like anyothers on earth.
other cars use different types. and are all unique .
unlike CABLES
unlike vacuum servos.
see>?

here are the basics for heat.

1997 gmc rear air conditioner is blowing hot

Could be a blockage in the lines to the rear unit.
Might be low on freon too. Or a blend door problem.
Can you check under the floor and see if one of the lines is cold ?

2000 NISSAN 4X4 P/U A/C SYSTEM WILL BLOW COLD WHEN OUTSIDE AIR TEMP IS COOL, WHEN HOT OUTSIDE AIR BLOWS HOT.

your auxillary fan is not working. this fan is responsible for cooling the freon that is being circulated in your cooling system... check if there are any loose wires in front of the engine bay.

the auxillary fan is located right beside your radiator fan.

Air conditioner charged won't blow cold air, heater core will not let cold air enter into the vehicle. If I close off the heater it will blow cold air. Heat blows all the time even in off postions

It sounds like you either have bad controls or stuck dampers in your vents. The stuck dampers are usually caused by plant debris getting in to the air system.

Air conditioner blows hot air from dash

On most cars when you push a button or slide a lever to change your choice of location where you want the air to blow out louvers move inside the dash to redirect the air to your chosen location. When you switch from heat to AC other louvers move. These louvers are often powered by vacuum lines running from the engine. If one of these louvers is stuck or if you have a vacuum leak in one of the lines it may be causing your problem.

Fully warmed up; blowing hot and cold; Suzuki XL-7

Its just a vent damper plate not operating, it's like a gate which controls the flow of air,,usually they are operated by vacuum, or cables.
Service center time, unless you are handy with your own repairs.
