Usual solution is... run fuel injection cleaner and step up one grade in fuel...or get fuel from a major gas station.

this might be due to faulty valve clearance. reset your valve clearance.

Sounds like you got a bearing or push rod going out. Does it make a tickining sound. That could be a lifter. But if engine is makeing a metalic clattering sound, its about to let loose..

Most likely too much freon,freon is not always the answer,a bad condenser,or expansion valve,anything can cause this to happen,if there is too much freon,it will try and lock up.

Clattering noise


Be sure to check the front struts and mounts. Open the hood and try to bounce the front-end up and down as much as possible while looking at the strut mounts.
