If it does not reset after 5 miles of driving after adding the correct tire pressure, then a tps scan tool will have to reset the system.

How do i reset the low tire pressure lamp on my 2008 ford f350 xl super duty truck

I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado and I get that warning all the time. It appears when the tires are low on air pressure approximately 3 pounds low will set it off. Honestly it drives me nuts. I think your truck works the same as mine does just refill the tires to the correct pressure and the light should shut off by itself. There is a electronic device inside your tire it attaches to the backside of the valve stem that is what is sensing your low tire pressure. Just fill your tires to the correct level and I believe your light will turn off. I know it does in my truck.

I hope this helps you out if it does please leave me a YES that I did try and help you. Thank you.

Low Tire Pressure Indicator is always on

disconnect your positive battery cable for 15 min. may only be a temporary solution. if that doesn't work in the long run you may have to change the sensor.
