Question about Nissan Sentra

2 Answers

I have a 2002 nissan sentra se.I am replacing the factory sterio with one I bought. The factory sterios wiring color code is different than the one I bought. (Rt,Lt speaker wires, - wires, power wire, ect.) Can I get the name of the cars factory sterio brand. Can I get the wiring schematics for the factory sterio? Can I get anything that will show me,what color wires of the factory sterio will match to the color wires of the new sterio?

You do have an option here. If you go into somewhere like best buy, you can purchase for about $20 a harness kit. It plugs directly into your cars plug and **** connects into the aftermarket radio harness with matching colors and you are done in about 15 minutes. If this is not what you would like to do, please respond back at my email as so I can get you the complete harness emailed back. I can't email it through here. Won't fit. iambanshee74@yahoo.com

Sterio wireing

you will need to get a cord that connects to the sterio and then you need to match them up with these wires
the colors for the radio that are hooked up to the car are
  • orange is power
  • red is egnition
  • blue is power antena
  • black is ground
other ones will most likely be the sterio wires you just need to find colors that look a like and they will most likely match

hope this helps

Replace factory radio on 2002 yukon xl

all you gotta do is carfully pry the dash panel off (prying from the far left end is easiest) completely remove panel. then there are 2 clips that hold the factory sterio in place. push on the both clips while pulling the radio out. simply disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the radio. using an adapter avaliable at your local radio shop (scosche p/n gm02, mdarb and gm1483b) wiring harness, dash install kit, and antenna adapter. then simply match the colors on the new radio's harness to the adapter harness, crimping each connection with a "but plug". then simply follow the instructions included with the dash install kit to assemble the kit.connect the antenna adapter to radio, plug in all cables. test to see if everything works properly before the final install. install sterio into dash install kit, re installing kit where origional radio was. then simply put the panel back in its place by firmly pushing on it untill it snaps into place. then enjoy your new radio!
