Check the routing, make sure the groove part is on the grooves and the smooth is on the backside. If you need a diagram, AutoZone can print one for you, no charge. Good Luck!

Adjusting 1995 beretta belt tensioner

The belt tensioner can usually be moved with an adjustable wrench on the end of it, or you can just rent the tool from AutoZone. Not hard to do at all, but a bit challenging without the diagram. They can print it for you there as well, good luck!

How do i change a serpentine belt on a 95 beretta,with a four cylinder

I allways recommend haveing a repair manual they can be had at an auto parts store, online in the form of a download or sometimes on ebay ina CD. That said there shoud be a belt diagram under the hood most likly on the fan shroud. You wil need to release the tension on the tensioner using a wrench to remove old belt and again to install new belt. Good luck

How do you change the serpentine belt chevy malibu 200

Well you don't have to remove the tensioner. If you look at it, you'll see a 3/8 square hole in the arm of the tensioner. Put a ratchet wrench, or breaker bar in the hole, and you can move the tensioner, it is only spring loaded. The diagram for how the belt laces in should be on the radiator core support. Lace it for the majority around, move the tensioner, and once you have the belt in line, release the tension on the tensioner arm.

How do I loosen the tension on the belt in a 1995 Chevy Caprice so I can replace the alternator?

Click on the following direct Link. It has several Serpentine Diagrams; one of which matches your specific engine and options (ex: AC/No AC etc).
Regarding HOW:
Standard Rule to Removal the Serpentine Belt:
1. Find the Tensioner(s). (See Diagrams on Link)
2. Using a Serpentine Belt Tensioner Tool, Or Wrench OR Ratchet, Rotate/Move the Tensioner USING THE AVAILABLE NUT OR OPENING (3/8ths or 1/2 inch square opening) away from contact with the belt and towards the area where the belt is not in contact with the Tensioner Pulley. The Tensioner is spring loaded, and is hard to rotate/move.
3. Remove the loosened belt off one of the other more easily accessed Pulleys
.
Standard Rules for Installing the Serpentine Belt:
a. Pick a Pulley that is most easily accessed. This will usually be on top. This will be the last Pulley that the belt will go on.

b. Using the Diagram: Install the new Serpentine Belt on the remainder of the Pulleys....over, under, left right.
c. Using a Serpentine Belt Tensioner Tool or Wrench or Ratchet Tool: Rotate/Move the Tensioner Pulley/Arm "away" from Belt contact area on the Tensioner. This spring is pretty hard and with a new belt, it will be even harder to install. Rotate/Move this to as-close to the maximum allowed inorder to have enough slack in the belt to get it up and over the last pulley.
d. Using your other hand - Pull the Belt up and over the Last remaining Pulley.
e. Before releasing the pressure on the Tensioner, visually inspect the remainder Pulleys and the Belts' Positioning on them.
Let me know if this helped...

To replace the belt push (rotate) the belt tensioner and remove the belt. Use a 15mm socket on the 4-cyl. engines and a 3 / 4 in. open end wrench on the V6 engines.
