That would be your check engine light. You need to have a mechanic connect an OBD2 reader to the car to access the ECU error codes causing the check engine lights so you can replace what's gone bad.

The bottom of the rod has a rubber stopper that fails and can cause this. You must turn off water and remove the upper part of faucet to pull out rod.

Intermitent starting problem

Have you checked your ignition switch? Generally it is located "behind" the keyhole. It is a cylinder shaped thing that has contacts that might be worn or dirty.

The engine and ABS icons on my dashboard does not disappear after ignition. Also the cruise control indicator blinks even after ignition. This only happened this morning after I started my Forester.

Your onboard computer system has detected a malfunction in one or more of the many systems that is monitored by the computer. You must scan your computer network to find out why it has turned the light on.

2001 galant, had cam shaft sensor replaced. Check engine light won't go off. Mechanic ran diagnostics again and said computer is reading a mis-fire in piston 1. Mechanic says there is NO mis-fire...

Ask your mechanic to please verify that he has the cam set in exactly the right position, and that the wires connecting it are still in good shape. The "misfire" could be that the computer is seeing the fuel-air explosion, and thinks it is at the wrong time due to the sensor being off.

Theres a light come on my dash board an don't know what it is. it on left hand side on the dash board. its looks like the end of fire hydrant. its a peugeot 106 independence. 1991

Please you need to take the car for diagnosis because a couple of things can bring up/ turn up that light.

But this is not a great deal of problem but I recommend you get a scanner hooked up to the car.

Good luck.
