Question about 2002 Ford Taurus
Hi, if the car runs fine from cold but plays up when the engine is warm then has trouble starting till its cooled down, then the chances are the oxygen sensor(lambda sensor for real name) is on its way out and will need replacing.
the best thing you can do is go and have a diagnostic check done as this will tell you exactly whats wrong as you could spend money on parts that dont need replacing.
if the oxygen sensor comes after the catalytic converter then it could be this thats at fault but without having the error codes read you could just be guessing
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
