Question about 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager

I have a 2000 plymouth grand voyager se 3.3l . i tested it for a no start and diagnosed a bad computer. i got power and ground going into the computer but im not getting grounds out to the start relay asd relay and fuel pump relay. it looks like i got a bad computer from chrysler or am i over looking something ?

This is not the computer but the immobilisor ,either you have lost the chip out of the key or it isnt programmed in ,new computer ?? only a dealer can reset the factory immobilisor as its encrypted software or it wouldnt be a anti theft device now ,sorry its a tow truck to the dealer and smile when you pay the bill

The alternator is self grounded when installed. There is no ground wire
Remove the 3 bolts holding it on
unplug the wires remove belt from pully
install new do not tighten yet
put belt back on pully and pull alt till belt is tight hold there and tighten bolts
plug in elect wires
test

Drop the transmission and replace convertor and then reinstall. Not a DIYS job, you really need a lift

Ok i bought a 1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager and the brake lights don't work we replaced the fuses, the switch, and the light bulbs so what could be the problem?


YOU MAY HAVE A BAD GROUND. MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS POWER GOING TO THE SWITCH. IF NOT RUN YOUR OWN POWER WIRE WITH AN INLINE FUSE TO THE SWITCH. TRY THE BRAKES AND SEE, TRY THIS GOOD LUCK
