I have found a couple of references in forums about that fault code. The first link has some pretty good info about troubleshooting it.
http://en.allexperts.com/q/Ford-Repair-811/2009/7/code-po113.htm
The second reference I found is basically the same.P0113 is an Intake Air Temperature Circuit high input. When I see a code like this,I at least look it up for people. If I can fix it,I tell how,if I can't I look for references on how to fix it.Anyhow there it is.Good luck!

The ECU is receiving a higher than normal resistance signal from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor, Check the connections and if they are good more than likely the sensor is bad. The ECU can be bad but highly unlikely.

P0113 code solution

Find the inlet air temperature sensor somewhere along the airflow route to the engine. It is often integrated with the mass airflow sensor. If it is separate from the airflow sensor, it will only have 2 wires. If the airflow connector has more than 4 pins, the air temp sensor is probably integrated there. Inspect the wiring and remove the connector. Inspect the pins in the sensor and the terminals on the connector. Make sure the connector is connecting properly. If all looks good, test the sensor. Look up test procedures for your model and use an ohmmeter to test.

P0113

Hi there:
This code is a fault in the Intake Air Temp Sensor. When the code sets once, and then again in "pending" it just means that a system-wide check was done a 2nd time, and the P0113 has still failed, so the PCM files it as "pending" (still at fault after a re-check). Replacing the IAT Sensor should solve your problem. It's located in the air cleaner duct work (location diagram).

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

I have 2 codes from AutoZone P1870 and P0113. What do they mean and can I fix them myself? If so what do I need to do?

P1870 is a transmission fault code having to do with the valve body, probably not a DYI job.
P0113 is a IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor circuit problem, could be a bad sensor or just a poor connection.

P0113 is what is stated on the service code. what does it mean?

P0113 -

Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input

It looks like it is related to the IAT sensor or circuit.

Have u had any work done on the engine lately or anything done under the hood? looks like something in the area of the MAF sensor is disconnected or the sensor itself is disconnected, all the codes are related.

2000 ford explorer P0113 code, replaced the MAF, cracked vacuum

P0113 code indicates that the intake air temp sensor has Hi voltage. This sensor is located in the air intake near or in the air cleaner. It is a 2 wire sensor that looks like it does nothing. It measures air temp coming into engine and then the computer knows what kind of fuel mixture it should be delivering. This may be something to look at. The reason the check engine light comes on later is that the computer only self checks at certain times. Rate me if this helps
