SOURCE: where is the air conditioning

The expansion valve:--On the passenger side of the vehicle, under the hood, look at the firewall. you will see 2 silver lines going into the firewall. There is a black plastic cover that is ****-shelled over the Expansion Valve. Remove the cover ( unsnaps). Now you will see there is ONE 5mm allen bolt that holds the 2 lines into the front of the valve. remove the bolt. pull the lines away. Now there are 2 more smaller allen bolts. These are 4mm. remove these 2 bolts and pull the valve away from the Evaporator. Beetle cooling

there will be no flow rate to the reservoir at all because the reservoir is only there to collect and excess coolant that is ejected after the water expansion from heat has overcome the setting of the radiator cap. The reverse of this is when the system cools down a vacuum is created in the radiator and a another valve opens allowing water to be drawn from the reservoir to keep the radiator full.. If you have a flow from the radiator when the engine is running check for failed cap or have a compression test done to check for blown head gasket or cracked head

Have a 2000 VW Beetle Brake pedal good hard to stop

Possible the check valve on the servo won't work,or you do have a cracked plastic pipe connected from engine manifold to check valve or even after the valve towards the servo and makes the brake pedal strong on application but very hard to stop.

A/c expansion valve 2000 chevrolet 1500 p/u

It has an orifice tube not an expansion valve. Follow the high side line from the firewall back to the radiator. There should be a fitting a couple bends back from the firewall. Take apart the line at that fitting and the orifice tube will be inside.

Trying to replace a rear ac expansion valve for a 2000 dodge durango 4.7 but dont know exactly were it is. Or how to get replace it

Hi,
The expansion valve is located in the evaporator core, it is a brass made metal w/ temperature sensor tubing. Getting that expansion valve requires you to pull down the entire rear A/C blower box.
Am just curious, why are you replacing that valve?
An A/C tech will be better to do that job so that he will clean also the entire system and freon charging.
Hope that helps you out!
