The regulator for a/c to heat is what I call the blend door, this door is located inside the environmental station, it is elcetronically moved back and forth to blend heat to a/c. To replace this door requires that the dash be completely removed and the environmental station removed or opened at the top, the door slides in from the top. This is not an easy repair due to the number of wire connections and screws and fastners to be undone and redone. If you are not comfortable with this repair, I recommend a good local shop, if you are comfortable, then grab a haynes manual and go for it! Hope this helps, let me know.

I have change pressure sensor DENSO 6100 on Nissan X-trial 2005 It was p0089 error code now I have two p0089 and p1275

code p 0089 refers to fuel pressure regulator---performance problem===causes fuel pressure regulator---mechanical fault
code p 1275 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1--response time===causes--- HO2S--fuel pressure--injectors--intake air leak--exhaust leak--MAF sensor
as the pressure regulator ( fuel pressure) appears in both codes I would be paying attention to that unit first

How do I take off glove box, to get to heating device that needs to be replaced

IF you have the glove box that folds down when it opens, you need to look on the sides of the lid for stops. There is one on each side, they come out with a twist or sliding motion and then the lid opens all the way.

Regulator failure, the regulator keeps the voltage between a set of given limits when engine revs change turning the over voltage into heat, and is usually integrated with alternator and rectifier, it can on some models be removed from the back of the alternator or you can try an after market unit, and wire it in line from the alternator wire to the battery, mounting the heat sink on the chassis, otherwise your up for a new alternator.

My 2003 Lexus es300 air conditioning is blowing hot air out of drivers vents and cool air out of passenger vents how do I fix this

The heat in that vehicle is controlled by a blend door that regulates heated air flow. it is operated by an electric motor/actuator. The problem can be that the actuator is stripped or inoperative or the door itself could be damaged. This is what needs to be determined by examining the actuator and see if it is responding to heat change commands or not.

Hello 1991 cadillac deville failed for high hc ppm emissions. 973 out of a 220 needed to pass. Egr valve code present. Has original catalitic and oxy sensor too. Runs great when cold but as it heats up...

Your fuel pressure regulator may have failed. See pic below. Find it on top of the engine bolted to the fuel rail. With the engine idling, briefly pull the vacuum hose off the regulator. If gas comes out of the regulator vacuum port, replace the regulator.

Blowing fuses for windows on Ford Focus Station 2000 1.8

The alternator in a car have a regulator package inside it. It not only consist of the regulator, but the rectifier as well. Rectifier rectify the ac produce by the alternator into dc current. Thereby charging your battery. The regulator regulates charging of course. All these are inside the alternator. If you ever take apart one it is the hard plastic inside, which is sometimes fastened to an aluminum "heat sink" to dissipate heat. These things are made of semiconductors. When semiconductors fail they pass current both ways, therefore creating a short. The wire that broke loose probably got overheat by a failing circuit inside that regulator causing it to heat up and break loose. They just connected it back on there, but I don't blame them because they are mechanic not electronic technician, which I am one, and also a mechanic as well. These explaination may seem new to you, and infact very few mechanics know exactly how an alternator works. Specially the semiconductor inside. Try removing that wire again, and if that made the window issue dissapear, we nailed it. Changing the alternator is the solution. If you can buy just that regulator packages and rebuild you alternator by changing it, it would be much cheaper. They are just fastened in there by little screws or bolts. These are my analysis based on your information. Also operate the windows to see if a particular window makes the fuse blows. Thanx for asking a question, and I am here always ready to give you answer as accurate as possible.

I changed the thermostat in my 1993 Toyota Celica

Yes, those are the hoses that go to the heater core. Just wondering, you didn't say that air is blowing, is it? You also have other components that "decide" your heat into the cabin of the car. What were the symptoms leading up to you deciding to change the thermostat.
