Question about Lexus GS 300
Well the Knock sensor is locate under the intake manifold and you may need to remove it to access the knock sensor. You may please follow the steps below to locate -
1. Park your Lexus on a level surface. Engage the parking brake and open the hood of the engine compartment.
2. Take a mirror and hold the mirror under the intake manifold so that you can see the engine block underneath it. The intake manifold is where the exhaust pipes join the engine block.
3. Shine your flashlight onto the engine block under the intake manifold and locate the knock sensor on that side. The knock sensor will be mounted to the engine block, near the middle of the block. It is round in shape and about two inches in diameter, with a wiring harness coming off the end. The sensor is screwed into the block.
