10W 30 is what the factory recommends. You can run 5W 30 in the heat of the summer, but I would switch back to the 10W 30 in cooler climate. This is all supposing that your engine is in good working order (no leaks, etc.) and on what you use the truck for.

Don't know where to poor my oil in my 1981 ford f100. there is not filler tube

there shouldn't be a filler tube, just a dipstick tube for checking the oil level. to put the oil in the engine, there should be a oil cap on the right hand side valve cover. if the dipstick tube isn't there, you definitely need to get one from a parts yard or store, you can be losing oil from the dipstick hole that goes to the oil pan...

What should the idle speed be set at on a 1971 F100 3 speed manual transmission 302 engine?

No more than 800 RPMs and if running real good you might be able to get to about 600 with a good smooth idle.

My 1971 ford f100 won't restart after a freeway run. It has to wait about 10 minutes

It sounds like an ignition module failure or the ignition coil is overheating. If it is fuel injected, a fuel pump relay could be the problem

1981 f100 2wd auto rear main oil seal is leaking. How do I get. To it once I back the transmission out is it a 1 piece. Or 2 piece seal

remove transmission. seal is behind drive plate (what in manual trans vehicles is called a flywheel. You really need a $25 service manual when you do this kind of repair yourself...most likely a 2 piece seal in that truck...depends on motor

Ned to now wat the firing order for dist cop shood be for a 1987 ford f100 pick-up truck 300sixcylender stick shift model#333

The F100 ended in 1983, so there is some confusion on your 1987 Ford F100. The F150 started in 1983 and was available in 1987, but not the F100. You have this listed under the 1981 Ford F100 category.
The 300 CID = 4.9L In-Line (Straight) 6-Cylinder.
In order to best answer your question I have included both the 1981 F100 4.9L and 1987 F150 4.9L below. The only difference is with the Distributor Cap Configuration and Connections.

For the 1981 F100 300cid=4.9L:
Firing order:
1-5-3-6-2-4
Cylinders:
(back)
...6
...5
...4
...3
...2
...1
(front)
Distributor:
...(back)
.........4..[.]-clip
2
...................1

For the 1987 F150 300cid=4.9L:
Firing Order:
1-5-3-6-2-4
Cylinders:
(back)
..6

Distributor:

Swapped a 1978 f100 complete drivetrain into a1971 f100 ranger .

you dont need to splice the harness ,look closely every thing will plug in you just need to take the distributor from the old motor and put it in the implant motor...if thier different motors get one from a wrecker that is the same year as the truck and put it in the implant motor
