So let me get this straight. You have no a/c and heat correct? Does the blower motor work? If it doesn't its your problem. get back to me and let me know what happens when you turn a/c on and heater on does blower work?

SOURCE: Heater doesn't blow out warm,

yes, the blend door actuator may have failed. So are the heater hoses hot going into the firewall? I assume that is why you say the core is OK.

To check the blend door,

  1. Remove the lower trim panel from the passenger side of the instrument panel.
  2. Disengage the trim panel from the passenger side of the center console.
You should be able to see the actuator there. Try changing the temperature setting to see if the gear turns in the actuator. If not, remove the actuator and see if you can rotate the blend door shaft by hand. If the door is jammed, you may have to take the heater box out to free it up. If the door works OK by hand, either the actuator is bad or the switch is bad. If you could hear the actuator clicking when you were checking it, it is getting power but is stripped. If it was not clicking, I recommend you verify there is power to the actuator by probing the connector with a test light while changing the temperature setting. If there is no voltage, the switch may have failed. If you have questions, please let me know.

My air conditiong stopped working

Check to see if the coils are covered in ice.... unplug for a few hours and let it thaw out... 99% of the time this is the problem.. high humidity causes water to form and freeze up over the coils rendering the ac useless until thawed but... place it somewhere the water will not damage anything

2000 ford taurus heater not working. What can be wrong?

It sounds very much like the heater control door (inside the heater box) is sticking in one position or the other. It's intended to direct air through either the AC's evaporator or the heater core, depending upon whether you want heat or cooling.

Assuming (highly likely) that the control door is vacuum-operated, you may have a vacuum leak anywhere from the engine to the heater box inside the passenger compartment, via the heater control unit.

unless the vehicle came with dual climate zones, then you can't split the air/heat in that manor. Most basic systems in a car have a mixture door where air either goes across the heater coil, or across the evaporator coil, or mixing the two. But the air coming from the vents will all be the same, not split.

Good day we have a 7 seater mazda mpv w reg the car is losing coolant but no water is getting in the engine because the engine oil is not milky, but water is coming out of the air conditiong system at the...

Check heater pipes under the vehicle, as these have heater controls in the back of the car the pipes rust out causing coolant to leak out. cut the pipes and bridge them together as you dont require a heater in the rear of the vehicle. Costly if you cook the engine if its a V6, as you have to pull the engine out to do head gasket replacement.

If AC under hood gets cold then it could be the damper motor or the shaft it drives has split a common problem.
