X type jag auto gearbox no drive only 21000 miles

Check the transmission fluid. If there's been a leak and lost too much then it won't get correct operating pressure. Check the colour of the remaining fluid - is it red? Red is good. Just check under where the car has been sitting to see if a regular tranny leak has occurred.

Also check the filter. If it's clogged then that'll cause no or low pressure also. If it's clogged badly, then something inside the 'box has started to disintegrate. Possibly brake bands.

Torque converter is probably not the problem. Can you start it in drive and neutral? If so, then not inhibitor problem either.

2004 54 BMW X5 juddering occasionally while stationary. Stationary Revs approx. 500-700rpm in gear and same in park or nuetral.

I had similar symptoms, which progressed to stalling upon start-up. It made me think that I also needed a new starter; however, diagnostics revealed that I need a new fuel filter (which is not covered under the extended warranty) and, therefore, will cost about $450.00. Good luck.

if its making a wierd noise when you press the clutch in and let it out again i would say it is your thrust bearing in gearbox. if it automatic i would check your linkage between engine and bulkhead(back part of engine bay) as this is where it connects.

2003 Mercedes C180 Compressor AUTO BOX transmission oil check

The transmission fluid is not to be checked or touched unless there is a malfunction in the system and the fluid has to be drained to repair it. The transmission is sealed form the factory and the fluid lasts the lifetime of the unit.

Lost drive in auto gearbox v6 24 valve engine model speedo not moving when you acelerate in drive suspect torque converter

Does it move but the speedo doesnt work properly or at all? Unusual or no gear changes? Suspect the Vehicles Speed Sensor (VSS) on the gearbox.

If it doesnt move in any gear check the autobox fluid level, failing that get it checked for copdes, could be a few things
