SOURCE: Performed self diagnosis on instrument cluster on

You need to find a code book or someone who can get their hands on one. Usually a parts house can tell you what a code stands for.

On my 05 Ford mustang v6, my fan only comes on when i turn my AC on and makes a funny noise when I turn the AC on, diagnostic test gave me a code, u1900, what does this mean and how do I fix it?

Where did you pull this code from ? What type scan tool did you use ,or was it a code reader ? Do you know about data communication networks on modern cars ? A U codes indicate a communication problem on the data network .
U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error Audio Control Module REFER to Section 418-00 . U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error ABS Module REFER to Section 418-00 . U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error Instrument Cluster REFER to Section 418-00 . U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error SJB REFER to Section 418-00 . The thing that would make this easier to diagnose would be to have a factory scan tool or a professional grade . Need to know what modules can communicate with scan tool .Honestly ,Don't think you can fix this . Dealer or ASE certified repair shop .Do you know what C.A.N. - controller area network is ? The vehicle has 3 module communications networks:
  • high speed controller area network (CAN)
  • medium speed CAN
  • international standards organization (ISO) 9141 communications network
The diagnostic tool connects to the communications networks through the data link connector (DLC). The DLC allows a diagnostic tool access to diagnose and test the vehicle systems of any module on the communications networks.
All 3 communications networks are connected to the DLC. This makes diagnosis and testing of these systems easier by allowing one diagnostic tool to be able to diagnose and control any module on the 3 communications networks from one common connector. The DLC can be found under the instrument panel between the steering column and the driver door. Which module doesn't communicate with scan tool ?

NO BUS displayed in odometer display as well as warning lights are on. No radio,no heat & grinding tranny sounds when shifting out of drive to park. Whats wrong with my car?

A display showing NO BUS is a communication error between one or modules. All your symptoms may be related. You can try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds to see if all resets. If not, a diagnostic from a scan tool may be required to isolate which module is not communicating and repair from there

Did you change any modules on the vehicle ?
B2900 VIN Mismatched ABS Module VERIFY that the module has the correct as-built data.
CHECK for correct powertrain control module (PCM) and ABS module configuration using the diagnostic tool. RECONFIGURE the component as necessary. FOLLOW the diagnostic tool directions for the ABS module configuration or REFER to Section 303-01A or Section 303-01B for the PCM. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the C1805 Mismatched PCM and/or ABS/TC Module ABS Module CHECK for correct PCM and ABS module configuration using the diagnostic tool. RECONFIGURE the component as necessary. U1262 SCP (J1850) Communication Bus Fault Network Fault REFER to Section 418-00 . Can a scan tool communicate with all the modules on the vehicle ?
  • The anti-lock brake system (ABS) module or stability assist module (if equipped) does not respond to the diagnostic tool
  • Circuit or connection in the standard corporate protocol (SCP) network.
  • ABS module.

U1041 SCP (J1850) Invalid Or Missing Data For Vehicle Speed Tire Pressure Monitoring System Module REFER to Section 204-04 . You need to take it to the dealer , not a transmission shop. Your vehicle could have a ground issue , could have power issue , could have a control module issue . It needs to be hooked up to the factory scan tool ! It is for sure it has a communication problem on the SCP data bus , do you know what serial data communication is ?
The vehicle has 3 module communication networks:
  • the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communications network
  • the international standards organization (ISO) 9141 communications network
  • the universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART) based protocol (UBP) communications network
The diagnostic tool connects to all 3 networks through the data link connector (DLC). This makes diagnosis and testing of these systems easier by allowing one diagnostic tester to be able to diagnose and control any module on the 3 networks from one connector. The DLC can be found under the instrument panel between the steering column and the radio.
The SCP communications network will remain operational even with the severing of one of the bus wires. Communications will also continue if one of the bus wires is shorted to ground or voltage, or if some but not all termination resistors are lost. The SCP communications network allows inter-module communication.
The ISO 9141 communications network does not permit intermodule communication. When the diagnostic tool communicates to modules on the ISO 9141 communication network, the diagnostic tool must request all information, or initiate module commands.
The ISO 9141 communications network will not function if the wire is shorted to ground or battery voltage. Also, if one of the modules on the ISO 9141 communications network loses power or shorts internally, communications to that module will fail.
The UBP communications network will not function if the wire is shorted to ground or voltage. The UBP is different from the ISO communication network in that it allows intermodule communication.

Do you know how to do electrical testing using a wiring diagram and a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter ? Do you know how complex the electronic's are on your vehicle are . Could be something simple but then again may not be . Hooking up a professional type scan tool that can check for DTC'S in all the modules on the vehicle would be the first step in diagnosing this ! Do you know what a electronic control module is ? Your vehicle can set hundreds of code's an they don't all turn on the check engine light . Moving the ignition switch to the CRANK position sends a 12 V signal to the PCM Ignition Crank Sense. The PCM verifies that the transmission is in the PARK or NEUTRAL position. The PCM then grounds the control circuit of the START relay. When the START relay is energized it allows voltage to the starter solenoid S terminal.Do you know what Data Link Communications are ?
The data link connector (DLC) allows a scan tool to communicate with the class 2 serial data line. The serial data line is the means by which the microprocessor-controlled modules in the vehicle communicate with each other. Once the scan tool is connected to the class 2 serial data line through the DLC, the scan tool can be used to monitor each module for diagnostic purposes and to check for diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Class 2 serial data is transmitted on a single wire at an average of 10.4 kbps. This value is an average; class 2 uses a variable pulse width modulation to carry data and depending on the message it may operate faster or slower. The bus will float at a nominal 7 volts during normal operation. Each module can pull this lower during the transmission. The bus is not at battery positive voltage or ground potential during normal operation. When the ignition switch is in RUN, each module communicating on the class 2 serial data line sends a state of health (SOH) message every 2 seconds to ensure that the module is operating properly. When a module stops communicating on the class 2 serial data line, for example, if the module loses power or ground, the SOH message it normally sends on the data line every 2 seconds disappears. Other modules on the class 2 serial data line, which expect to receive that SOH message, detect its absence; those modules in turn set an internal DTC associated with the loss of SOH of the non-communicating module. The DTC is unique to the module which is not communicating; for example, when the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) SOH message disappears, several modules set DTC U1088. Note that a loss of serial data DTC does not normally represent a failure of the module that set it.

Your best bet would be to have a qualified repairs shop check it out .

Did not pass state inspection (vehicle)

First the fault codes,
U110C is No Fuel Level Bus Message
U0155 is No Cluster Bus Message.
Unfortunatly you have to be able to communicate with the instrument cluster with your scanner to diagnoise and I do not think an aftermarket scanner can do this.
