Question about 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier
Are the lights bright enough so that you feel it is not the battery?By won't crank you mean that you get no click click click like the battery is dead I am assuming. If it isn't the battery, locate the starter. If you aren't sure where it is,can't find it etc.,call any shop, they will tell you for free someone will because they want business.Tap on the starter with a hammer a couple times then try and start it.Not too hard, not too soft.It may take several tries but it should start eventually. If that works it's your starter (obviously). If that doesn't work, feel free to write back and we'll figure this out.Good luck!
