Question about 1997 Ford F150 Regular Cab
If the positive wire is hot, its connection is bad, check and clean all corrosion at the terminal connections to the actual wire and at the terminal connection to the battery. Do this for both battery cables. Hope this helps, let me know.

Testimonial: "THAT WAS MY NEXT MOVE, BUT I'M GLAD TO HEAR IT FROM AN EXPERT. THANK YOU."
I have a 2001 F-150 that wont start. I replaced the battery, solenoid and starter. It started then made a high pitched noice and started smoking so I shut it off and now it wont start again. Do I have something wired wrong?
