The local high school auto shop recently replaced the radiator in my 2006 Yukon and did not connect the oil lines correctly. The oil leaked out and the engine stopped.

A lot depends on how long the engine ran without oil. If the starter will still crank it, you might be lucky. If the engine has a lot of miles on it, it might be best to overhaul it, since rings and crankshaft bearings suffer the most .

My engine has a noise and oil sign is displayed and it does not go away although there is enough oil what it could be?

Bad oil pump? Bad bearings? Bad sender unit, but with bad noise probably the engine needs overhaul or replacement.

How much does it cost to replace the lifters

Typically one does not replace all the lifters except during major engine overhaul and when Camshaft and Camshaft bearing is being replaced as well. It is much more common that noisy valve train is misdiagnosed and is really a sign of other problems. Noisy valves and upper end can be a sign of lowered oil pressure. As engines age and main bearing wears, oil pressure will naturally decline with time. However if excessive wear occurs, or if dirt / foreign object has clogged vital oil gallery supply, wear can accumulate much more rapidly.
In short...less oil pressure means more wear...more wear means less oil pressure...
I would first get an idea of the overall condition of the engine. A dirty engine/lifters can first be treated by draining one quart of oil and replace with a quart of transmission fluid and run it for a day or two. The detergents can loosen and clean oil gallerys and lifters. Then drain, change filter, and fill with 10W-40 (4.5 quarts). Otherwise main bearing/oil pump renew or engine overhaul might be in order.

Low oil pressure toyota camry

Is this high mileage vehicle? If so, I doubt changing oil pump will help, you may need engine overhaul?
Sometimes, you use an analog pressure gage in place of the oil pressure sending unit, to read actual oil pressure. My info says at idle, oil pressure 4.3 psi or more. At 3000 rpms, it says 43--78 psi.

My 1992 mustang lx hatcback 2.3L non turbo hesitates and chugs when I press on the accelerator?

This is a sign the engine is burning oil. The oil id getting into the combustion chamber either by the waorn valve guides or via worn piston rings.
A compression test can determine if you have worn piston rings.
If you have worn piston rings then this is a major engine overhaul.
Worn valve guides is a minor engine overhaul.

Stopped at light. Oil light came on engine died. Restarted no power real rough. Won't idle. Is there a safety shutoff on loss of oil press. Any suggestions. 1997 3.1 lumina

Hi. This issue has several causes, but the oil light indicator is a strong sign of low pressure in the engine. This will cause the engine lubrication rate to drop, thus, producing a illuminated oil light, and erratic Oil pressure readings. The necessary actions are to have a manual oil pressure test ran on this engine, asap. When running a manual oil pressure test, you will discover if the true oil pressure is low, or normal. If the test proves that the oil pressure is, indeed, low, this will confirm that the Oil pump is suspect.

Now, if the true readings given during the manual oil pressure test are indicating that the pressure is normal, this will be the result of a failed sending unit(oil pressure switch). Although the oil pressure is suspect, this is not your only issue here. There seems to be a abnormal compression rate, present. This is causing the rough idle, and erratic RPMs. I recommend to administer a engine block compression test, as well. This test will discover if , indeed, there are issues within the cylinder heads, and block structure, such as a worn head gasket, cylinder wall issues, and cracked block. Normally, these issue will send signs, like white, or gray smoke out the tail pipe, or discolored oil. It will, also, promote erratic RPM ratings, and a rough idle. Have the oil pressure test, and engine block compression test ran, asap.

Once the test are administered, you will be able to isolate the actual problem areas, more accurately. Check the spark plug wire sets, and ignition assembly for faults, also...

Speedometer won't work on 1995 mustang

Modern cars no longer use a mechanical cable and speedometer. They have an electronic sensor called the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) which is mounted to the transmission where the old speedometer cable used to go. If the engine was replaced, perhaps the mechanic forgot to plug the wiring harness back into the VSS? Or perhaps he damaged the wiring or the sensor during the engine overhaul. (The transmission has to be removed to remove the engine from the car.)
