Question about 1978 Ford Granada
On an inline 6 cylinder witch is what I have, it's on the passenger side of the engine just behind the exhaust pipe, and is accessed from under the car. Be sure to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery before you start to take it off, good luck, george..

disconnect the battery lead & other wires from the starter motor ,undo the bolts on the starter flange that hold it onto the engine, & if there is nothing in the way the starter should pull straight out,if anything is in the way it will have to be removed first.......hope this helps......cheers
