The problem is the hazard flasher. You will need to replace it and this should stop the clicking. This is the switch on the dash where you turn on the hazard flashers. If you play with it while it is flashing sometimes it will stop. This is a good way to tell that this is the problem.Hope this helps.Good luck.

My blinkers are working properly, however, I get a fast blinking sound. Would buying a new emergency flasher correct this problem? The flashers are currently workiing.

There are usually two different flashers for the 4-way and turn signals.
Before you replace the flasher, make sure all your bulbs are working.

Signal lights will work sometimes, but not others. Emergency flashers still work all the time.

The signal lights and hazard flashers work off of separate plug in modules generally easy to get to under the dash behind the steering wheel area. With the blinkers on you can touch the module and feel the clicking inside. Look for a black or blue square boxy looking thing with three or two terminals coming out of it, about the size of a golf ball. One will be for hazards and one for blinkers. Ask at the parts store for the turn signal blinker module and then replace either one first to test to see if it corrects the problem and if it doesn't, put the old module back in place and replace the other with the new one (if they appear identical - interchangeable).

Blinkers no longer work and have checked all fuzes

The switch and relay which is built inside switch is most likely faulty if fuses and all bulbs are new.

2003 Oldsmobile Alero Flasher fuse

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, Its located behind the hazard button to the right of the speedo cluster. If you have a clicking noise as if your turn signal was on or hazard buttons pressed. Its not your flasher problem. I had to tear apart half the dash and found out that was not problem. Its the turn signal/ wiper switch located on top the steering column. Its very easy to change. The top piece above the turn lever and wiper lever just snaps out. One torx screw holds it in. Unscrew then lift up there are a few wire plugs in the back. Lift up on the wire tabs and pull plugs out. Reverse order to replace with new part that I bought from Napa auto parts for around $150. You can do this if you have very novice skills and 1 torx bit tool. If can help in any other way, just let me know and good luck.....YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

2001 Olds Silouhette - The blinker on the dash blinks quickly

NO PROBLEM TURN ON THE RIGHT BLINKER THEN WALK AROUND THE CAR MAKE SURE FRONT AND REAR BULBS ARE FLASHING... IF YOU HAVE A BULB OUT YOU WILL NOT OFFER ENOUGH OF A LOAD TO THE FLASHER... WILL CAUSE IT TO FLASH FAST... IF OK THEN MAKE SURE THE PROPER BULB NUMBER ON BULBS AND MAKE SURE CORRECT BULBS USED IN VEHICLE.... IF OK CHANGE FLASHER

Blinkers work sometimes?

There was a recall for this type of problem. I had the same problem and changed the signal flasher, and switch, and still had the problem. Having the dealership address the recall issue fixed the problem for me.

Blinkers

I'd try replacing the hazard switch - the relay for the turn signals is incorporated into it. My friend's daughter has the same car as your daughter, and after going through the wiring diagrams, that was the only candidate for causing the failure. We changed it and it fixed the problem.
