If it is a 5.4 3valve engine it does not have an egr system

Take it to Auto Zone they will give you a good price on the part and a locator print out on where the part is located on your vehicle...all advise is free.

Look on the top of the engine. The EGR valve is usually shaped like a UFO with a vacuum line going from the top of it to the EGR valve sensor. That's how it is with my 4.0L SOHC. Hope this helps. God bless

There are sensors ojne for each bank of cylinders in the pipes before the converters, 1 and possibly 2 [ depending which model ] after the converters.
