Which relay is for the fans on 2001 ford Taurus

There are 2 relays for the cooling fans. They are located in the power distribution box located in the engine compartment (see picture below of location). there is a low speed fan relay located in the number 24 position and a high speed fan relay located in the number 32 position (see layout picture below). If your fans are not working at all you may also want to look at the "maxi" fuse in the number 9 position as that gives power to those relays. i hope this helps and good luck.

Location of fan relay switch 1994 neon

The dodge neon fan switch is located on the front left inner frame behind the radiator, Take note this relay doesnt look like a normal relay, it looks like a module type, heres a picture of it. also take a look at the connector and make sure its not melting or rotted. the most common reason for a relay like this going bad is due to a bad fan, it draws to much, make sure the fan is good, replacing the relay with a bad fan will make the relay go bad in a few months, good day, hope this helps.johnjohn2_90.jpg

Fuse location/ Cooling fan relay location

The relay for the cooling fan is located on the left side (north america drivers side) of the rad about half way down or near the top (may vary) there may be two relays or one, replace them both. As for the fuse location it should be under your dash (fuse panel) looks like a big silver fuse similar to a zippo lighter, it will be marked in fine print "engine fan".
