The above links have the videos for the fuel pump replacement. Just follow the videos. One suggestion is to spray the hoses with some silicone spray to help their removal. the third video is the most explicit and clear.
not sure how that could be the cause, but check to see if vent valve is stuck closed. Otherwise, see my notes at link below. Do It Yourself Diagnosis and Repair
Replace your fuel filter and airfilter. If this doesn't work - you may need a new coil pack or cap and rotor if it has a distributor; if this is the case, change the spark plugs and plug wires.
Presumably the battery died long ago, and this is long since fixed, but it sounds like the relay contacts are welded and needs to be replaced. Its often called "the solenoid".
