Question about Mercedes-Benz ML-Class
The battery is either not getting enough charge from alternator or it's not able to keep the charge for too long.
If the battery is the original, I would say it's time for a new battery. The average life span of a car battery it's about 3 to 4 yrs., 2 yrs. in extreme whether.
To pin point the problem more accurrately, drive your vehicle to an AutoZone, Checkers or your Favorite AutoParts store and ask to have your Starting/Charging system checked. I know the first two offer this service at no charge to their customes.
