Question about 2007 Toyota Avalon
Oil change the owners manual has the directions for resetting it your self
Turning off the Maint Reqd lightSee page 153 of the owners manual. Turn the engine off with the odometer reading showing (not either of the trip indicators). "Turn the ignition switch is set ON while holding down the trip meter reset knob". Some language, eh? "Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates 000000 and the light will go off. AnswerIf you go to the oil change section of the owner's manual it will tell you exactly how to. If you get your oil change at a professional place be sure to ask them to turn it off or take it back and ask them to turn it off. Good Luck!

If the dealer/mechanic did the service early the light will come on when service is DUE. Go back to him and have it turned off. Search the web someone may have the procedure posted. Usually simple. Google "Toyota service light reset" or "Toyota Maintence light reset" Try this one
