Question about 2002 Nissan Altima
Check that the computer is hooked up and getting power.
This vehicle has what is called throttle body injection. The injectors are controlled by the ignition module and the ECM (main computer). Check the ECM fuse in the fuse box first.
Check fuel pressure with a GAUGE. The fuel pressure should be 9-13 lbs.If you are getting the right pressure in your main line there is a pressure regulator diaphram in the TBI that could be bad.
Check you ground wires from the body to the engine if that checks out then you may have a broke wire or bad injector drive in the ECM
Make sure you have fresh fully charged battery installed.
These are the easiest and least expensive things to do. If this doesn't fix it you may have a bad Ignition module and or a bad ECM.
Have a nice day.
