Not necessarily. What do you mean by "gone"? Did it melt? Is there a hole in it? If you had a condition that caused 1 piston to fail, that same condition may not be present in the other pistons. You may be able to replace just that 1 piston. On the other hand, it may be more economical to simply have the engine rebuilt or a new engine installed. There are many factors to consider and I could use more information if you have any.
