I would look into replacing the coil even though it is sending spark it might not be enough and I would go through and just double check all my wires as well as the firing order because if it's off just a little it will make the car run rough

Truck is not firing on 3 cylinders yet it runs.. Runs really rough, back fires, under powered.. Plugs are Wet, Firing order is correct. New Spark plug cables. Don't know that is wrong! Please Help

Check for spark at the plug ( may have coil problem).
If spark is good then do a compression check. Pressure shouldn't be less than 75% of known good cylinders.

I have a jeep Wrangler 1989 2.5 (4C) and replaced the wires and plugs sue to the vehicle running rough at mid range.. this was to no avail I would like to check the firing order. Thank You

FIRING ORDERS NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement. If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your book to reflect how your engine is wired. Fig. 2: 1992-95 2.5L engine Engine Firing Order: 1-3-4-2 Distributor Rotation: Clockwise 85352010.gif

05 Colorado - New Spark Plugs, Rough Idle

Sounds like you got two wires mixed up. Check your firing order. If not that, then you dropped a spark plug and flattened the gap. If it's a V6 the firing order is 165432. If it's an 8, it's 18726543.

Car runs bad after replacing spark plugs and wires

Make sure the part store gave you the correct plugs and wires. Consult a third source for a firing order.
