Something has clogged the brake line or caliper. Flushing the brake system may fix it. The excessive heat may have trashed your caliper, rotor, and pads. You should have them inspected or replaced.

replaced caliper brakes are fine.worried about possible transmission damage.2300 RPMs at 55 mph not normal service engine light on

In your post you said the caliper was stuck. If the caliper is stuck then the engine is working harder to try and move the truck. is it still doing this after its been fixed?

If you purchased your vehicle from a dealer, it should have a warranty. Give the dealer an opportunity to make it right although the dealer may claim that the repairs you made voided the warranty

Calipers keep locking down

are you serious ? this should not happen , it tells me your master cylinder is @ fault , too much pressure, unbalanced system, not enough pressure to rear drums, bleed improperly, if you have abs brakes which I 'm sure you do, maybe the proportioning valve is stuck, should be in a balanced position. if bleeding does not help to resolve this, then replace the valve, rebleed the entire system, according to spec, back to front, LR,RR,RF,LF. UNLESS YOURS IS DIFFERANT. if you also suspect master cylinder, replace it also. but the VALVE needs to be replaced no matter what !
