Oil loged evap? the evap lines would be full of oil and the canister would have oil in it, but the evap system remove the fumes from the tank and burns them and then it filters fumes and releases them after filtering threw the evap canister, how the system would get oil lodged is nothing ive ever seen, now it may be possible to get some oil in the system if the pvc system was blocked but ive never seen this,

NEED HELP ON A 04 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX 3.8 AND CODE P0446

YOUR DTC P0446 is a EVAP problem ! EVAP - Evaporative Emissions System . Do you know what it is an how it works >
This DTC tests the evaporative emission (EVAP) system for a restricted or blocked EVAP vent path. The control module commands the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve Open and the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve Closed. This allows vacuum to be applied to the EVAP system. Once a calibrated vacuum level has been reached, the control module commands the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve Closed and the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve Open. The control module monitors the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor for a decrease in vacuum. If the vacuum does not decrease to near 0 inches H2O in a calibrated time, this DTC sets.

I would like to know what makes that the Jeep smoke after rearranging the vacuum lines is it the EVAP system on HBO or the engine vacuum lines vacuum lines

the book is free,
and real
and posted here over 300 times, search much.
all that is covered in the SM. (how to put it back as it was new)

no clues as to what the smoke is.
or where it emits from. (tail pipe end)
white smoke or black
black is rich running.
white can be burning oil and smells like burning oil (lingers)
white can be steam, aka, antifeezes burning, goes the vapors dont linger like oil smoke does and smells sweet, unlike oil smoke.

EVAP is only FUEL vent , fumes. gas fumes.
there are lots of vacuum lines
to engine
evap
brake booster
the engine hood sticker covers the majors, (smog related, )

SM , serv. man. click WK and read.

Symptons on low power steering fluid

You steering wheel will have lots of play sometimes you can turn wheel about an inch or two without wheels turning. Check your fluid it has a little plastic dip stick in it like oil cept this has two measurement spots one for cold and one for hot. Add when cold up to cold line. If this keeps leaking you might have to replace your steering gear box

Blowing blue smoke

Hi can you tell me make and model. Does the car blow blue smoke all the time and other than smoke any other symptons? poor starting , power loss etc.
I had a similar problem on a golf gti after servicing drove very well but smoked on start up, and found to be the high grade fully synthetic oil recommended by the factors was simply too thin, and thus giving me by pass on worn valve seals and pistons on older engine sometimes a thicker grade oil is better.

Not sure why the previous post talked about an oil control valve, this is an EVAP code...
DTC P0454 EVAP EMISSION SYSTEM-PRESSURE SENSOR INTERMITTENT

Probably either a bad connection or bad EVAP pressure sensor.

this can be serious, like a blown head gasket or cracked head. has it been overheated lately? good antifreeze used? even then you can have head problems, are you losing water? oil? check the oil and look for water in the oil, check the water and look for oil in the water, is the water abnormal looking? rusty? all these are symptons of head problems

Oil light fickers or stays solid when braking

I had the same problem on a 2002 Stratus. I also had a Diagnostics Code of P0455(EVAP leak). I replaced the gas cap and this fixed the problem. I don't know what EVAP leak had to do with the oil pressure light coming on, but the new gas cap fixed it.
